DragonflyTV

the dolphins response
There are so many great books about Dolphins, you would be better
off asking
your librarian. The librarian will know which books they have on
dolphins.

Flelicity, AL | Dolphins

How do dolphins talk and communicate? What behaviour do they show?
DragonflyTV
| Dolphins chat response
Dolphins seem to use sounds to communicate to each other. Scientists
have spent a lot of time trying to understand how dolphins communicate.
The scientists record the dolphins sounds, and look for behaviors
that go with them. Read more at this website: http://www.dolphincommunicationproject.org/dcp.asp

response

Kylie,
10, OH | Dolphins & humans response
Why aren't dolphins scared of humans?????????????????????
DragonflyTV
| Dolphins & humans response
Here's part of an interview with Hilary, one of the girls who investigated
dolphin behavior on DragonflyTV: In human
care, dolphins love people because they have many great encounters
(like playing, swimming, getting food). However,
in the wild, dolphins don't know people and it is dangerous for
both people and dolphins to interact. It's harmful to the
person because the dolphins don't know if you are a friend or an
enemy. (plus, it is against the law) And, it is bad for the dolphins
because they learn to beg for food and then can't take care of themselves
or their children in their natural habitat. Go to the Washington
Post Web site to view the full interview with Hilary.
