Charu, IN | Fresh Water Plant
There is a kind of fresh water plant which can move from one place to another.

Rachel, WA | My Garden
I planted a plant in a cup and now i have it in my garden.

Tyler, 10, NS| Plants
Plants make your house look beautiful.

April, 8, VT | Venus flytrap
Why does a venus fly trap close like it does and trap stuff?

Frank, AZ | Venus flytrap...reply
Now I don't know a whole lot about venus fly traps, but I know that they are one of them few plants that uses protein as a food source. Insects get trapped in it because it is very sticky, and then it closes so that it can eat the insect.

Ava, 8, WA | Leaf colors
Why do leaves change color? What is a good experiment to prove this?

DragonflyTV | Leaf colors response
Watch for an upcoming episode of DragonflyTV, where Mia, Maddie, Ally and Mikki investigate this very question. Then try your own investigation next Fall!

Jason, 39, MN | Scuba Diving in Kelp Forest
You've featured kids SCUBA diving both on the show and in ads which really surprised me. My son wanted to begin diving with me and I was told by his doctor that diving with compressed air is extremely dangerous for anyone under 17. Numerous other doctors I talked to confirmed this including at the Hyperbaric Medicine unit at Hennepin Cty Medical Ctr. Problems may include stunting of bone growth, cranial lesions, changes to kids personality and loss of memory, and possibly death if the PFO (hole in heart) has not fully closed by the time they begin diving.

DragonflyTV | Scuba Diving in Kelp Forest response
Certainly, if you or your health care provider have any reservations about your child's safety during scuba diving, your child should not dive. Megan and Ian (the divers featured in our show) were certified divers before they approached DragonflyTV, and had the blessings of their parents, physician, and scuba instructor. The practice of diving is self-regulated, and the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) requires a minimum age of 12 to participate safely in underwater activities, and then only with a scuba certified adult. We conveyed this in our show. Again, make no decisions about scuba diving safety for children without your health care provider's input.
