  Model Rockets

F.W., BC | Rockets
Anybody know how to make a good science fair project on Rockets and how to build a good one.

George | Rockets
Can someone point me to a document and/or site that fully explains how to build a rocket from scratch?

James, TX | Rockets
I have built 10 rockets and there are classes A,B,C,D,ext there are two different companies Estes and Quest that I now of,but Estes is best of those for beginners.

Tom, MA | Rockets
I've built Estes rockets as a Cub Scout, but the rockets on the Propultion episode were HUGE! Are these built from kits or from scratch? And what kind of engine do they use? It sounded like they were using a standard model rocket engine. Is it from Estes, or are there other model rocket companies out there?

Jenn, FL | Model Rockets
How do u put an altimeter in a model rocket that you buy at stores?

Laureana, MD | Mini-Rockets
I think the things you do are cool and you are awsome at filming stuff what I liked best is
when you filmed the robot Fish and you know those mini Rockets I had one but I can not
find it.

Seemab, MD | Rockets part 2
How can u make rockets that arent model rockets?

Frank, AZ | Rockets part 2 ... reply
In response to 'How do you make rockets that aren't model rockets?'. What I think you are asking is how to build a rocket without a kit, a rocket of your own. If you want it to be a good rocket, it requires a good understanding of metal working and physics. You would basically make all of the parts your self from metal, weld them together, and then put an engine on it. How precise you are, how mcuh time you put into it, and how complex the math that you use is are all factors that determine how high the rocket will go.

Gloria, 12, NY | Rockets
I built a model rocket that flew to 1600 feet.
