Find out all about your topic
With a subject in mind, you are ready to rock. And research. And read. Read everything you can find about your topic. Visit your local or school library or bookstore, or hop online. The Internet is an excellent source for information; use a search engine to find links to science and topic-related sites.

When you find a source of information about your topic, check how old it is. Things change quickly in science and some of the information on the Internet may be out of date. If you know people with experience in your topic, ask them what they think. Maybe they'll tell you a new way to think about your investigation. next...
