The South African Development Committee (SADC) was founded in 1980 to investigate economic reforms in nine South African countries. Abduction Prevention
A bipartisan group of lawmakers, police and family members of crime victims have joined together to form the Katie Poirier Abduction Task Force. Their first goal is to increase the flow of information on crimes and criminals to law enforcement agencies and thereby help prevent cases like the well-publicized Katie Poirier, Jacob Wetterling and Cally Jo Larson abductions. Mary Lahammer brings us a report on the task force and their other goals, which include violence prevention and better tracking of sex offenders.
